Cameo doesn’t like chocolate. It’s been a thing since he was a baby and continues to this day. Marlo’s consumption more than makes up for his brother’s tastes. We didn’t hype up the lead up to actual Easter at all for this reason, but we did keep going on about all the things we were going to pack into this two-week break from school and preschool for the both of them.
We’re seeing this as a warm-up to the way we’re going to have to go about managing our time while the kids are off in summer.
Here’s a quick breakdown of went down over Easter:
- Warwick Castle. Discovered the new Zog Playland. Watched a great bird show. Had plenty of fun exploring the grounds. Met Giggs.
- Plenty of gymnastics. Cameo had five sessions over the two weeks. Marlo had one. I had three. It inspired me to get on the home trampoline and finally land a backflip.
- Introduced Cameo to WWE Kids magazine. Now he’s fully hooked on all things wrestling.
- Met Mirabel. Because they could.
- Went on a Treat Kitchen shopping spree. They lived out their dreams in Victoria Centre.
- Got WWE 2K22. While we were in town, it only seemed fair to bless Cameo up with the game he kept seeing advertised all the time.
- Brushed up on my online marketing knowledge, because I need some inspiration for my next big thing.
- Hit up the skate park many, many times. Because it’s the place to be and they improve every time we pass through.
- Gulliver’s Kingdom. Stayed in a pirate-themed hotel room. Went on as many rides as possible.
- Chickenpox. Ended all the plans for the rest of the week with a dose for each of the boys.
